The Zoroastrian Center and Darb-e Mehr of Metropolitan Washington (ZCDMW)

We are a religious, charitable, and educational organization dedicated to building a Zoroastrian Darb-e Mehr, or place of worship and related facilities on a 7-acre property in Vienna, Virginia. The Darb-e Mehr will provide a place of worship and fellowship for the Zoroastrian community of Metropolitan Washington DC, and will share the heritage of Zoroastrians and the ancient Persian culture with the broader community through research and education.

The Center will be an energetic focus in our Nation’s Capital for worship, education, research and community building at the local, national, and global levels, guided by the divine principles of Asho Zartosht, “Good Thoughts", "Good Words" and "Good Deeds". The Center welcomes all who practice the Zoroastrian faith and those who seek to know about the history, principles and practice of the Zoroastrian faith.
